The Andhra Pradesh High Court outraged over the AP government because of the delay in the construction of oxygen plants in government hospitals in the state. The High Court has questioned the government why the promise given to the court that 16 plants would be ready by the first week of this month is delayed.
The court directed the AP government to list the reasons for the delay in the form of a memo and when it would be completed. The next hearing was adjourned to June 24. The bench comprising Chief Justice Aroop Kumar Goswami and Justice N Jayasuriya passed the order. A social worker said to the court that the AP government was not taking action against private hospitals despite charging exorbitant fees for corona treatment.
