It is known that the CBI was handed over the case for the enquiry of the case in which the AP High court judges are abused and insulted through various social media platforms. Now the Central Bureau of Investigation has expedited its probe into the case of insulting AP High Court judges.
The CBI has stepped up its aggression in a case in which many people were accused of posting obscene language on social media defaming the high court judges. High Court Advocate VV Lakshminarayana appeared for the first day’s hearing. He was interrogated by CBI officials for about an hour and a half.
We are aware that Lawyer Lakshminarayana had earlier written a letter to the Registrar General of the High Court alleging that the High Court judges were spreading false propaganda on social media. Along with the letter, Lakshminarayana also handed over the postings on social media to the Registrar General. The then High Court Registrar lodged a complaint with the police based on the letter of lawyer Lakshminarayana.
The government then shifted the inquiry to the CID based on Lakshminarayana’s complaint. Now, it is being said that some YSRCP MLAS, MPs and even MLCs might get warrants regarding this case and they might be interrogated soon. The people who are said to be the followers of the ruling party are on the radar in this issue who vented out their anger on judges who caused trouble to YCP earlier in an unacceptable way making the social media as the platform.
Lakshminarayana spoke to the media after the trial. He said the CBI should hold an inquiry into the YCP leader’s remarks that he would protect those who posted these posts in YCP social accounts.
