Narayana Educational Institutions founder, Narayana, was arrested on Tuesday in Hyderabad, alleging him of being responsible for the leakage of the 10th class question paper in Andhra Pradesh. The Chittoor police carried out this arrest after they grilled the Vice Principal of Narayana Junior college in Tirupati, who reportedly said that he forwarded the question paper on WhatsApp after Narayana himself insisted he does so.
After his arrest, Narayana was produced in the government general hospital in Chittoor for a medical check-up. Later, he was produced before the magistrate in the late hours of Tuesday night and early hours of Wednesday. The magistrate granted bail to Narayana, as Narayana’s advocate produced proof of Narayana not being the Chairman of the Narayana Group of Educational Institutions, as he resigned from the post in 2014.
Today, the Chittoor police filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, seeking the cancellation of Narayana’s bail, as they strongly believe that he’s the one responsible for the leaking of the 10th class question paper. They have also requested an inquiry into the case, and it is now to be seen what the HC’s verdict would be in the case.
