The Pink Diamond case in TTD has taken a crucial turn. The High Court dismissed the petition seeking a fresh inquiry into the pink diamond case.
In the case of Pink Diamond, the Supreme Court has already given two reports and therefore said that there is no need to order a retrial. Stated that it could not interfere in the matter in any way.
The bench comprising Chief Justice Arup Kumar Goswami and Justice Chagari Praveen Kumar passed the order.
It is learned that TDP spokesperson Vidyasagar Pillai has filed a petition seeking an order in the Pink Diamond case.
MP Vijaya Saireddy, then EOs IYR Krishna Rao, LV Subramaniam, and others were included as personal defendants.
The court, however, objected to the inclusion of Vijay Saireddy et al as defendants. The pink diamond was presented to Lord Venkateshwara by Mysore Maharaja decades ago.
