YSRCP Nellore rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy came out in front of the media and made series of scathing allegations against the government. He said his phone is being tapped and the government is behind it.
Now, the government has started to take stern action against Kotamreddy over his allegations as they’ve gotten the intelligence department involved.
The intelligence department is currently investigating the phone-tapping allegations made by Kotamreddy. They’re investigating the voice note shared by the MLA to imply YCP is tapping his phone.
The government is saying these are just voice recordings and not evidence of phone tapping. The same is being investigated by the intelligence agency now.
The government is claiming these are just baseless allegations by Kotamreddy with the phone-tapping remarks. More clarity will emerge once the intelligence department issues an official statement.
