In this context, the government has announced a new program to curb the drugs culture in the state.
The Andhra Pradesh government has taken a sensational decision to stop the allowance of government welfare schemes for the families of those who sell Marijuana(Ganja).
A few minutes back, IT minister Nara Lokesh announced this decision in the cabinet sub-committee meeting on narcotics control operations that will be coming to effect in the state henceforth.
The anti-narcotics task force has been named Eagle and it will work on anti-drugs operations from now on. It has been ordered to form Eagle committees with 10 members in schools, colleges and secretariats. Women’s groups and ASHA workers will be involved in these.
