The Andhra Pradesh government has sanctioned ₹45.02 crores to improve infrastructure in 286 government schools located in remote areas of Alluri Sitarama Raju district. The move is part of Education, IT, and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh’s mission to strengthen education facilities, especially in tribal regions.
The funds will be used for constructing classrooms in schools that currently have no proper buildings, building completely new structures where required, and carrying out major and minor repairs in 85 schools.
Minister Lokesh has set a goal to ensure that every tribal area school in Andhra Pradesh has a permanent building. He has instructed officials to begin the works without delay, stating that improving education in remote areas is a top priority for the state government.
This initiative is expected to benefit thousands of students in tribal villages, providing them with better learning environments and improved facilities.
