The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling that panchayat elections should be held in AP.
Recently, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy held a review meeting with party leaders and officials. The Supreme Court’s judgment in the election case was discussed on this occasion.
The feasibility of conducting panchayat elections on behalf of the government was reviewed.
On this occasion, the government decided to cooperate with the SEC in the Panchayat elections.
AP government adviser Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy said that they respect the verdict given by the Supreme Court on the panchayat elections.
While speaking to the media in Amravati he said, “Elections and vaccinations are difficult to manage at the same time. There are rumours behind the SEC’s insistence that elections be held. YCP is always ready for elections. We have no ego issues. Elections will be held as per the decision of the SEC. Defeat in the struggle for the people is also a joy.”
