The Andhra Pradesh state government was infuriated with the attitude of the management of some intermediate colleges. Some colleges are not issuing the certificates for the students until the tuition fees are paid and the colleges are risking the future of the students.
The government has directed state DGP Gautam Sawang to take action against junior college owners who are harassing students by not giving certificates. State School Education Department Principal Secretary B. Rajasekhar wrote a letter to the DGP to this effect.
Rajasekhar asked the DGP to take action against the college owners who are harassing the students by not giving the tenth class certificates along with the inter-certificates. Many college owners, reportedly pressuring the students for extra fees by not giving their certificates back. The future of students is being damaged by the behavior of some ruthless junior college owners.
Principal Secretary B. Rajasekhar said that most of the students who got seats in IITs were brought to their notice as they could not get the certificates on time due to this behaviour of the Intermediate College managements. Therefore he urged the DGP to take immediate action against such college owners.
