The other day, SS Rajamouli and producer DVV Danayya met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to request ticket hikes and special premieres in the state. After meeting the CM, the top director said that Jagan responded positively to his appeal.
The latest update we hear is that the YS Jagan government has allowed Rs 100 hikes on the ticket prices of RRR, which is sure to help the makers to some extent.
It is known that the government had already passed a new GO with a new set of guidelines for the movies that come under the Rs 100 Cr budget. Not only a ticket prices hike, but the state has also given permission for extra shows and premiers as well. It has to be said that this is a really good move for RRR. And official clarity is awaited on the same.
RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. The expensive film, which is hitting the screens on March 25, also has Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and others in the important roles.
