Prabhas’s Kalki is the first big event film to hit the theaters after the onset of the Telugu Desam – Janasena – BJP government in Andhra Pradesh. So naturally a shift in power dynamic and additional boons are expected for the film, given TDP’s lenience towards the film industry.
As per the latest reports, there is a talk around the CMO that the makers of Kalki might be getting a massive boost from the AP government in terms of ticket prices.
We are hearing that the maximum prices that could be permitted for Kalki in AP would be around RS 375 which is nearly double as that of the existing slab which is capped at Rs 200. Kalki will be the first big benefactor of the shift in power in AP and it shall be seen how these hikes would positive affect Kalki.
