The Andhra Pradesh government’s financial woes are nothing new to report, as almost everyone is aware of the fact by now, already. However, these financial woes are only getting worse, which is why the AP government is trying to maintain as much secrecy as possible. For that, the government even stopped releasing any GOs at all and is passing all of its orders by word of mouth or other means, in utmost privacy.
The AP government has given everyone strict orders, and has made it mandatory for lower-level employees to not attend any financial or other confidential meetings, so as to avoid any leakages, and has even given strict orders to other officials, about not leaking anything. It has even ordered for everyone to not discuss these matters with anyone else other than the employees of the CMO so that there won’t be any other leaks.
With leaks getting out no matter what, the AP government is said to be of the opinion that these leaks are happening from other sources like Principal Accountant General, PAC, Reserve Bank and not from the AP Secretariat. Hence, the government is said to have come to the decision to not discuss any more financial details with these sources from now on.
