In a press meet, CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena said that campaigns and meetings should not be held without prior permission. He said that complaints are being received that volunteers and employees are participating in campaigns. He said that action has been taken against 46 people so far.
He said that Government employees are strictly instructed not to participate in campaigns under any circumstances and added that it is a crime under the law. He also said that complaints are being received that volunteers are participating in campaigns.
Media reports asked CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena that Ustaad Bhagat Singh‘s teaser has dialogues about Jana Sena‘s glass symbol. But he said that he has not seen this teaser. He said that if they have shown/advertised the “TeaGlass” in the teaser, they will consider it as a political advertisement. In that case, he said that notices will be sent to the team.
He said that complaints related to violations of election rules can be made through the C-Vigil app and actions will be taken within 100 minutes on the complaints received in the C-Whistle app. So far 1.99 lakh political hoardings in government places and 1.15 lakh advertisements in private places have been removed, he said.
