The AP cabinet meeting chaired by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is going on in the AP secretariat. It is learned that the cabinet has approved the purchase of mobile veterinary ambulances across the state and the distribution of laptops to students of 9th to 12th standards. The cabinet approved the setting up of Andhra Kesari Varsity in Ongole suburb in memorial of Andhra Kesari Tanguturi Prakasam Panthulu. Also, the state government has decided to transform JNTU Engineering college in Vijayanagaram into a Varsity.
Apart from these, the cabinet approved the construction of 2,62,216 houses by TIDCO. Also, it has approved a bank loan guarantee of Rs. 5,990 crore for the construction of the infrastructure. Cabinet approves 2021-24 IT policy.
