Andhra Pradesh-Bharatiya Janata Party has boycotted ABN Andhra Jyoti, which has been working in favor of the Telugu Desam Party. AP BJP media in-charge Vulluri Gangadhar said the boycott on ABN was taken in the wake of the attack on AP BJP state general secretary Vishnuvardhan Reddy during a discussion on the ABN channel.
Vulluri Gangadhar alleged that the ABN news channel has completely negotiated the media standards and moral values.
He flagged that it would be shameful to invite him back to the debate again without registering a case against the person who carried out the attack in favor of TDP.
He said the party had decided not to invite ABN Andhra Jyoti to party press conferences from now on and not to allow BJP representatives to participate in discussions on the ABN news channel.
