The Assembly passed the Andhra Pradesh SC Commission Bill on Tuesday. After the last time, it passed in the Legislative Assembly; the Bill sent to the Legislative Council from where it sent back, saying that some amendments should be made.
Now the government again introduced this Bill in the Assembly. Minister Pinipe Vishwaroop said that the amendment recommendations made by the Legislative Council are unacceptable, and therefore this Bill should be approved.
While many members of the YSRCP termed the Bill as historic, saying that the opposition TDP members are unnecessarily opposing it while there is nothing worth fighting.
The SC, ST ministers and ruling party MLAs thanked CM YS Jagan for passing this SC Commission Bill to the Legislative Assembly. Earlier, members also discussed this Bill.
Minister Pinipe Vishwaroop said that the Bill to create separate commissions for SC and ST is historic. He said it was improper not to pass the Bill in the Legislative Council. He criticized Chandrababu, saying that he discriminated against many communities.
The minister said that CM Jagan wants the welfare of the SC class and is taking many steps for this. At the same time, Chandrababu does not want this at all; only then, he is opposing welfare schemes. MLAs Jaganmohan Rao, Balraju, Jogulu supported the Bill.
