On Thursday, the AP government issued a circular, stating that all those employees who wished to be transferred to Telangana on a permanent basis can now exercise their option to do so. This circular was released by state chief secretary Sameer Sharma, and the government is collecting information of employees who are interesting in opting to go to Telangana.
In order to exercise this option, employees will have to fill the prescribed proforma by November 7th, and submit it to the Head of Office, or the concerned Head of the Department. These options would then be forwarded to the concerned HODs for certification within one week, and would then be sent to the respective department in the Secretariat by the HOD.
The HOD should certify and verify the information submitted by the employee, and send it to the Secretariat within 10 days of submission. The GO stated that the concerned departments of the Secretariat should take the necessary action within one week of receiving the information from the respective HODs.
