On-screen performances:
Nani just nailed it in the role of Sundar as a boy next role and did an outstanding work. Though he is not new in doing this kind of comic coated roles, Nani takes a new league in terms of performance and provides hilarious treat with his comic timing and situational fun moments. The emotional side in Nani’s acting is also showcased nicely without any medicore drama. Nani’s performance and his situational comedy are backbone for this light-hearted drama.
On the other hand, Nazriya Nazim, she is the perfect pick for the female lead role in the movie. Her confidence in acting and expressive facial features add depth to the proceedings. The chemistry between Nani and Nazriya is presented nicely.
Artists such as Naresh, Rohini, Nadiya, Azhagam Perumal perfectly fitted in the family setup as parents. Harshavardhan is hilarious in the office boss role. Heroine Anupama Parmeshwaran is cute in her cameo role and did her part quite effectively.
Off-screen Talents:
Director Vivek Athreya’s storyline is wafer-thin but he made sure that the screenplay of the film is packed with a good amount of fun and family emotions. The scene order and the narrative are blended nicely with gripping scenes and solid establishment proceedings.
Music by Vivek Sagar is yet another plus point for the film as his sounding is apt to the film’s genre. His background score registers. The situational bit songs add weightage to the proceedings in the second half. The cinematography by Niketh Bommi is superb as he presented the entire film on a colourful and lavish note.
Editing by Ravi Teja Girijala is okay but could have convinced the team to chop off a few lag childhood episodes to fix a perfect runtime. Production values of this romantic family drama are good.
Positive Points:
- Screenplay
- Music
- Artists performances
Minus points:
- A few lag scenes in the first half
- Lengthy runtime
