The list of celebrities who are testing positive for Covid-19 is increasing gradually over the past few weeks. Now, another popular actor Dulquer Salmaan has become the latest celeb to join the list.
The 35-year-old actor on Thursday shared that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. In a statement, he wrote, “I have just tested positive for COVID-19. I’m isolating at home and have mild flu symptoms but am otherwise ok. People who were in close contact with me during shoots over the last few days, please isolate and test if you notice symptoms. This pandemic is not over and we must stay vigilant. Please mask up and stay safe.”
A few days ago, Dulquer’s father, Malayalam superstar Mammootty revealed that he contracted the virus, despite taking all the necessary precautions.
On the work front, Dulquer Salmaan will next be seen in ‘Hey Sinamika’, directed by Brindha Gopal. He also has ‘Salute’ lined up for the release.
