Ignoring Huzur Nagar seat in the latest re-election notification, the Election Commission shocked TRS leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha and also Congress simultaneously.
After Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter faced a massive debacle in the Nizamabad constituency in the recent Lok Sabha elections, the ruling party of the state, had to face a severe shock. After numerous alternatives suggested by the various leaders of the party, finally KCR considered Huzur Nagar constituency as the right option to his daughter for contesting in the elections.
But much to the shock, the EC removed Huzur Nagar from its list, as the sitting MLA of Congress, Uttam Kumar Reddy won as Nalgonda MP and decided to continue in his position.
As Congress is strong in the constituency, it is confident of winning the seat again and BJP on the other side, has decided to stay away from Huzur Nagar. But shockingly, as Huzur Nagar is away from the elections this time, it can be considered as a jolt to a popular leader like Kavitha and also to Congress, which already has a limited scope in Telangana.
