Ever since the Supreme Court ordered the Special Investigation Team of the CBI, investigating the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy – the brother of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy – to wrap up the investigation by April 30th, the CBI has been working at a very rapid pace. Recently, the CBI arrested G Uday Kumar Reddy, a loyal follower of Avinash Reddy, who has been questioned several times by the agency in recent months.
Now, the CBI has made another key arrest in the case, where they have arrested Bhaskar Reddy, the brother of Viveka, from his house in Pulivendula. The CBI showed Bhaskar Reddy’s arrest warrant to his family and arrested him from his residence. A large number of followers of Bhaskar Reddy were present at his residence at the time.
On the other hand, Viveka was murdered at his residence in Pulivendula on the night of March 19, 2015, just a few days before the elections. This became a huge sensation, and investigation of the murder has been going on since then.
