Last year, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy organised a grand show of several ambulances at the Benz Circle. These ambulances were covered with the YSRCP party colours all over, and the CM officially launched these ambulances during the show, by waving a green flag.
A similar show is being planned for the 21st, at Benz Circle. At this show, vehicles that have been procured to do door to door delivery of ration will be put on display. A lot of discussions were held about which type of transport should be used for delivering ration at home, and autos were finalised in the end.
Nearly 8,000 autos have been ordered for, and these autos were recently delivered from Gujarat. These autos will be on display tomorrow, and CM Jagan will officially launch them by waving a green flag.
Volunteers will not be handling these autos, as separate people have been chosen and assigned to each of these autos, for the sole purpose of delivering ration to households. These autos have been given to the chosen people, as a loan.
Jagan’s government is now concentrating mostly on being able to deliver rice to every household without fail, whereas his previous plan was to deliver pure rice to every household. Jute bags were also planned to be given during every delivery, but with the cost of jute bags sky-rocketing, those bags will be given only once, and have to be made use of, for later deliveries.
