The YSR Congress party hasn’t learned any lessons from their previous mistakes and they are very much determined to humiliate themselves in public through their actions in court. It is known that many petitions form the ruling party in AP were previously ridiculed by the AP High court and now another incident happened in which the plan of YSRCP backfired big time.
It is known that Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has called for an all party meeting in order to discuss the commencement of the local body polls. He clarified that the SEC is open for suggestions and even the parties can suggest in written form. However, the YCP and Navatharam parties have filed petitions against this all-party meeting in the AP High Court.
The court just rejected the petition saying that they can’t issue a stay on this meeting as it is being held by the autonomous body, state Election Commission. The YSRCP government should understand that helding an all party meeting is not at all unconstitutional and the absence of the party that has formed the government to a meeting which is linked with democracy serves no good for the YSRCP.
However, the YSRCP has decided to skip the meeting in which TDP, Congress, BJP and BSP leaders have graced the meeting and they urged the APSEC to issue a fresh notification. They also asked the election commission to take the old notification back as many candidates were unanimously elected during the nomination period and thanks to the violence that was created during the nomination process.
Jagan should understand that, if he skips the meeting, being the autonomous body, the Election Commission may take a decision on their own and of course, they have some muscle to back up their decision in the form of opposition. So, no one finds what is the point that is present with YSRCP in skipping such a crucial meeting.
