Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film, “Animal,” has been a resounding success, grossing a whopping Rs 245Cr in India within just three days, while overseas earnings stand at 105Cr. The film’s impressive first-weekend earnings of around 350Cr have set a terrific precedent.
Even on Monday, the film continued to perform well, showcasing its sustained popularity. Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal in “Animal” has received widespread acclaim, reaffirming his stature as one of Bollywood’s finest actors.
What’s creating a buzz in the industry circles is Kapoor’s strategic remuneration for this project. Typically charging around Rs 75Cr per film, he chose to slash his fee for “Animal” to Rs 35 crores due to his strong belief in director Sandeep Vanga’s vision.
Interestingly, Kapoor also opted for a share in the film’s profits. With the movie’s exceptional box office performance, this decision has turned out to be massively profit for him, potentially marking the highest remuneration of his career.
