Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said Andhra Pradesh has entered a new era of growth and progress. Seventy-two years ago, the state’s journey began in Kurnool, and today from the same historic land, the state’s resurgence towards development and welfare has begun again.
He said that in a single day, Rs 13,430 crore worth of development projects were inaugurated across several sectors — marking a major milestone in the state’s progress. These projects will create over one lakh jobs and strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s industrial growth and economic power.
Pawan Kalyan said the major projects include the Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool and Kopparthy Industrial Area in Kadapa that will boost manufacturing; the six-lane Greenfield Highway in Visakhapatnam and the four-lane Pileru–Kalur section to improve road connectivity; and key railway projects like the Pendurthi–Simhachalam flyovers and the Kottavalasa–Vizianagaram railway line.
He also mentioned the Srikakulam–Angul Gas Pipeline, the LPG bottling plant at Chittoor, the Transmission System Strengthening at Kurnool-III Pooling Station, and the BEL Advanced Night Vision Factory at Nimmaluru in Krishna district. These projects cover roads, railways, power, defence, and petroleum sectors, creating strong opportunities for youth and investors.
Pawan Kalyan praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his strong leadership and commitment to Andhra Pradesh’s development. He said Modi’s support is not just a promise but a true investment in the state’s future, aligned with the vision of AtmaNirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047.
He also thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his visionary and experienced leadership in guiding Andhra Pradesh on the path of success. Concluding his message, Pawan Kalyan said, “May the divine blessings of Lord Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy be upon all of us. Jai Hind!”
