Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy received his first dose of coronavirus vaccine today. CM Jagan, who accompanied his wife YS Bharathi to the 140th ward secretariat in Bharat pet, Guntur, was vaccinated against Covid-19.
Jagan has launched the Covid-19 vaccination centre in the ward/village secretariats and said that the vaccination program will continue as per the central guidelines. He also said the vaccination program in the state will be completed within three months.
Volunteers will survey door-to-door and collect details of those over 45 years of age. They will inform the people about the details of the vaccination procedure and ensure that everyone would be vaccinated.
The vaccination program will be conducted in PHCs in each Mandal. Also, an ambulance will be made available to every 3 to 4 secretariats, as part of precautionary measures.
