There are many stories available related to this COVID-19 outbreak but out of all this one is said to be the gem. This inspiring story can be used as a bedtime tale for your children to explain them about this lockdown extension situation.
Once upon a time, there is a mini forest in which only deers roam freely and live happily. An over-enthusiastic deer crossed their border and entered into a dense forest in which many wild animals such as wolves, foxes, Lions, and Tigers live.
One wild deer saw this domestic antelope and warned him that the King of this Jungle, Lion will eat him at first sight and advised the domestic deer to return home. Giving this advice, the wild deer jumped out from there but this deer didn’t heed to its advice in overconfidence that she can easily escape from the lion’s clutches.
Going forward, it accidentally stepped on the tail of a lion and ran away from the wild animal out of fear for the sake of its life. However, the fastest and powerful lion caught the deer just at the border of the deer forest and ate it.
The lion entered the deers forest and started hunting mercilessly for the most tastiest meat in its life. When they come out of their bushes for food, the lion attacks and beats them to death. The deers have no clue of the happening until a wise one of them ‘Gynana Netra’ came with a solution.
“The lion cannot survive without food for more than 14 days but we have the capacity to withstand for 21 days. Hence, it is better to stay inside our bushes hiding from the lion to starve it to death. All the deers took a vow on the Amavasya that they won’t sneak out by any chance until Pournami.
On the day of Pournami, all of them got out of their bushes being terrified of the lion’s presence only to find it lying dead in its cave.
