Just last week, cricketer turned politician Ambati Rayudu joined YSRCP in amidst fanfare as he met with Jagan Mohan Reddy and took the YCP oath. But just a week later, Rayudu has decided to quit YCP and he announced the same in a public statement today.
Incidentally, Rayudu tweeted out that he is no longer a part of YSRCP and he will announce his future course of action in the days to come.
“This is to inform everyone that I have decided to quit the YSRCP Party and stay out of politics for a little while. Further action will be conveyed in due course of time.” Rayudu tweeted a short while ago.
Rayudu is now likely to join TDP or JSP and contest from a seat in Guntur district. He will announce his next move in the next few days.
