A key development is expected next month in Andhra Pradesh’s capital issue. According to reliable inputs, the government is preparing to introduce a Gazette Bill in Parliament in December, confirming Amaravati as the official capital. CRDA officials are said to be actively working on the legal aspects and coordinating with the Law Department to finalise all required details.
CRDA Commissioner reportedly informed Amaravati farmers that the Bill related to the capital Gazette would come up in December. He also clarified that no formal Gazette exists yet for any capital, and the upcoming Bill will bring clarity to the matter. Officials are focusing on completing the groundwork so that the process can move smoothly once the Bill is tabled.
These developments have created fresh buzz among farmers and residents of Amaravati, who have been awaiting a clear decision on the capital for years. With preparations underway at multiple levels, all eyes are now on the December Parliament session to see if the government will officially move forward with the Amaravati capital Gazette.
