In 2019, it was grandly announced that Venu Sriram of Vakeel Saab fame will be directing Allu Arjun for a pan-India film, titled ICON. However, due to unknown reasons, the project was kept on hold and the Stylish star joined forces with Sukumar for the rustic actioner ‘Pushpa’ which will hit the screens at the end of the year.
Now, the latest news is that Bunny decided to commence the shoot of ICON very soon. As per reports, the film will be going on floors before Pushpa part two as the script of the second part of the rustic actioner is not completed yet. So, Bunny wants to take up this project ahead of any other films he okayed.
The actor’s friend and producer Bunny Vaas has confirmed the same that the star will take up Sriram Venu’s ‘Icon’ after the completion of ‘Pushpa’ part one.
However, he will be keeping Koratala Siva and Boyapati Srinu on the waiting list till he is done with ICON and Pushpa-2. It is not clear who will be funding ICON as Venu Sriram said he came out of Dil Raju’s compound lately.
