There is one unique trend Power Star Pawan Kalyan created with the forgotten art of Telugu Culture- That is Folk Music. We are all aware of the fact that Pawan Kalyan uses the typical Srikakulam or Rural accent in his films! The classic examples are Malli Neekendhuku Raa Pelli From Thammudu, Boringu Ramanamma from Kushi, and Kaatam Rayuda from Attarintiki Daredi. Pawan Kalyan took all the songs to the next level and also gave a new life with his unique histrionics and style.
However, now it seems Stylish Star has also bitten by the folk song art same as his uncle Pawan Kalyan. Going into the details, a little birdie revealed to us that Bunny reportedly planned a folk song in his next film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. In his previous interviews, Allu Arjun mentioned that he always wanted to try Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s famous mannerisms to life in his films. With respect to that, he tried ‘Devuda’ as a frequent term, which became quite popular among youth and common people, in Race Gurram.
It is heard that the film’s music composer Thaman used a famous Srikakulam folk song for the film and he brilliantly composed it with the folk essence and added a new melody to it. Well, we are really excited to witness Stylish Star’s histrionics in the folk song for the first time on the silver screen. Fingers crossed!
However, there were many speculations doing rounds on the social media that Ala Vaikunthapurramloo makers are planning to release the third number from the film this weekend on the eve of SS Thaman’s birthday. However, an official confirmation is awaited in this regard.
On the other hand, Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and is in the completion stage. The film, which is being directed by Trivikram, stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Backed by S Radha Krishna under Haarika & Haasini creations, the film will hit the screens on January 12th, 2020.
Well, kudos to Allu Arjun Garu for bringing folklore to life once again with his film. And we wish all the very best to the entire team of Ala Vaikuntapurramlo.
