Allu Arjun changed his mind after the pan-India success of Pushpa: The Rise. He decided to immediately start working on Pushpa 2.
The end result is that Boyapati Sreenu, who was supposed to work with Allu Arjun was left high and dry as the Allu hero dumped him.
With not much of an option left, Boyapati Sreenu then got in touch with Ram Pothineni, who had been raring to collaborate with him for a long time and set up the project.
