This is definitely a rare sight to see many B-town celebrities and sports personalities singing the same tune and contributing their bit to save India against propaganda.
From Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Ajay Devgn to Sachin Tendulkar, several celebs took to Twitter on Wednesday to urge people not to fall for false propaganda against the country. But it was Akshay and Saina, who has come under the scanner for posting identical tweets about the farmers’ protest. Their tweets created a buzz as these were word for word similar.
“Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution, rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences.#IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda,” read the tweets posted on the accounts of Akshay and Saina.
The similarity between the tweets of both the celebs was not missed by netizens and they slammed Akshay and Saina for the copy-paste job. Soon, #SpinelessCelebs was trending on Twitter.
