Hattrick hit Bollywood star Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to declare his next family drama Raksha Bandhan on the ocassion of Rakshabandan. He collaborated once again with Aanand L Rai after Atrangi Re, which is yet to go on floors in October.
Akshay revealed the first look of the poster and said, “A story that touches your heart so deeply & so instantly, it’s the quickest I’ve signed a film in my career”. The tagline of the film looks intriguing and it reads, ‘Bas Behne Deti Hai 100% Return’. In the poster, Akshay can be seen smiling and hugging his four younger sisters.
Akshay penned about the endearing relationship between a brother-sister bonding and in the caption he mentioned that seldom do we stumble across a story that is so heart touching and disclosed that this film is the quickest to have signed in his career so far.
The actor further reckoned that this narrative would make us realise how blessed we are to have sisters. He also lovingly dedicated this flick, #Rakshabandhan to his dear sister, Alka Hiranandani who is co producing the film along with legendary director Aanand L Rai.
Raksha Bandhan is written by Himanshu Sharma who has been associated for long time with the director. The film will be bankrolled under Colour Yellow Productions and Cape Of Good Films banner. It will commence the production next year and is all set to release by November 5th 2021.
