Akhil faced a huge setback with the movie ‘Agent’ as it failed at the box office and on OTT platforms. This disappointment caused a delay in starting his next project, tentatively titled “Akhil 6”, produced by UV Creations.
Scheduled to begin filming around February or March, the team is being cautious, focusing on the script, and ensuring all details are in place. Despite Nagarjuna’s commitments to Bigg Boss 7, he plans to review the script before it’s finalized in January.
This upcoming film will be Akhil’s most expensive yet, with pre-production already underway for this pan-India project. Anil Kumar from UV Creations is set to make his directorial debut, while reports suggest SS Rajamouli will supervise the project.
Although the project seems to be taking time, sources indicate it’s deliberate to ensure Akhil hits a blockbuster this time. Expect a formal confirmation about the film’s details soon.
