Akhil Akkineni has tried different roles, from action to romantic hero, but he is still searching for a big breakthrough. This time, he is stepping into a completely new space with an intense drama directed by Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame Murali Kishore Abburu.
Produced by Annapurna Studios, the film is currently in pre-production. For the first time in his career, Akhil will play a rural character set in the Chittoor region.
Akhil, known for modern roles, will now transform into a rustic young man. After Pushpa, audiences have shown more interest in rural stories, making this a timely experiment. He is also preparing for dialogue delivery in the Chittoor accent.
