Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ will be hitting the silver screens during next Sankranthi season. The remaining portion of the film will be shot in the coming months.
Akhil is in great need of a proper commerical super hit and it appears to be that he will be joining hands with a commercially proven director for his next.
The Akkineni hero will be working under the direction of Surender Reddy, say reliable reports. The project is all but finalized and it will be announced very soon.
Surender Reddy was in talks with Varun Tej, and Ram Pothineni for a potential collaboration. He seems to have decided to work with Akhil now. In all probability, the film will start rolling early next year and it might be up for release by the end of the year.
Surender Reddy has the knack of making commercial potboilers which usually work well at the box office. We need to wait and see if he will give Akhil some much-needed success.
