Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is set to arrive in Hyderabad for a major investment push in Telangana. During the Telangana Rising Global Summit on December 8 and 9, the state government is preparing to sign two major MoUs—one with Devgn for a state-of-the-art film studio and film city, and another with Reliance Group for the Vantara wildlife conservatory and night safari.
The summit will be held at Bharat Future City, which the government aims to develop as a world-class, net-zero urban hub. Devgn is expected to formalize his agreement during the event, following his earlier meeting with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in New Delhi where he expressed interest in building a high-end studio in the state.
Officials say discussions have progressed smoothly and the project is now close to finalization. The plan is expected to give a major boost to the film and media ecosystem in Telangana.
The vision for Bharat Future City also includes Foodlink F&B Holdings’ proposal for an integrated global convention center along with three hotels. The investment is pegged at ₹3,000 crore and is likely to be signed at the summit.
With entertainment, tourism and infrastructure projects coming together, the two-day summit is shaping up to be a major milestone for Telangana, potentially transforming the state’s development landscape.
