Yesterday night, Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan confirmed that they had tested positive for Covid-19. They are undergoing treatment at Nanavati hospital, Mumbai. Both of them are symptomatic and have been in isolation for a few days now.
Going by the latest flash reports, Abhishek Bachchan’s wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for Covid-19.
An antigen test was performed on Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya yesterday and these results returned negative. However, the swab test which was performed later has confirmed that both Aishwarya and Aaradhya have contracted the virus. They have been shifted to the hospital for medical care.
Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan is showing mild symptoms and does not need a ventilator for now.
Also, another seasoned Bollywood actor Anupam Kher shared that his mother Dulari, brother Raju Kher and two other family members have tested positive for Covid-19. He clarified that he got himself tested as well and his results came back negative.
