With covid induced impact on lives of people, the travel sector is still most effected as many travellers are still not able to fly. With restrictions of flight operations being lifted gradually, it is apparently giving respite to the people.
According to recent news, flyers will presently get relentless access to fly to US from Hyderabad. Reportedly, Air India announced new departures from January 2021. Air India will dispatch its relentless departure from the city to Chicago from January 15.
Issuing an order, GMR-led Hyderabad International Airport reported that the flight will remain operative bi-weekly henceforth.
This new non-stop route was on our connectivity wish list for quite some time. And we are delighted that it is our very own national carrier that has commenced this service”, stated Pradeep Panicker, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd.
Recent update is that the airline will run Boeing 777-200 aircraft, with a seating capacity of 238 (8 First Class + 35 Business Class + 195 Economy Class) on the route. Apart from Hyderabad-Chicago direct flight, Air India is also gearing up to connect Bengaluru and San Francisco from January.
