Telugu OTT platform Aha is entertaining its viewers with interesting content since its inception. Along with movies and web series, Aha is also increasing its viewership with exclusive talk shows. With 11 million downloads in just 21 months, the digital streaming app is competing fiercely with the big OTT companies as well.
Now, Aha and Applause Entertainment have teamed up to produce a biopic of Late Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. The web series is directed by acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Prakash Jha.
From the demolition of the Babri Masjid, Mumbai blasts to reforms he brought in when he was the Prime Minister between 1991-96, the web series will show every chapter in his life. The series is based on the non-fiction book ‘Half-Lion’ written by Vinay Sitapati. It will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil in 2023.
