After the bifurcation of Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh had to remain with no funds in hand, that too with no Capital City. As the Centre also rejected to provide the promised Special Status, the situation of the state has turned even worse. As all the developments are made in Hyderabad alone, neglecting other parts of the United AP, the sudden bifurcation of the Telugu States, troubled Andhra big time.
Repeating the similar mistake, the previous government of AP, again tried to centralize the development in Amaravati alone. But forecasting the future and unwilling to face such situations again, the present YSRCP government has hinted to decentralize the development.
It planned to shift the High Court to Rayalaseema, Industrial Corridor to Vishakhapatnam and Capital City to Vijayawada. But the idea of shifting the High Court is not going well with the lawyers of Coastal Andhra now. So, they are protesting against the state government by refusing to attend their duties.

Meanwhile, the lawyers of Rayalaseema, reached out to the Secretariat and protested, holding the Placards, in front of the Chief Minister’s convoy, demanding to stick to the idea of shifting the High Court to Rayalaseema.
They also gave an option that if the officials choose to have the High Court in Coastal Andhra itself, then they should shift the Capital to Rayalaseema. They occupied the premises of the Secretariat and pledged to not move from there, till they meet the CM and discuss about it.
After Telangana statehood movement, the TSRTC workers have been resorting to a huge movement for the past few days. It seems, the same movement has inspired the AP lawyers and may soon make it as big as the TS movement, if Jagan fails to respond in time.
