Massive changes are taking place in Afghanistan, which has gone from civilian government to the hands of the Taliban. It is known that the insurgents have banned co-education in schools, colleges and universities. Now, this rule has resulted in the partition of university classes.
Now, a few pictures from Afghanistan, that mirror the Taliban rule in the country, are going viral on the internet. Recently, universities have been opened in some provinces. The managements have set up curtains in classrooms, separating girls and boys and making them not look at each other.
The Taliban, who have been claiming to respect women’s rights, continue to maintain their innate anarchic attitude. The Taliban Education Authority has recently issued some directives to educational institutions. The Taliban have mandated that women going to private universities must wear the burqa niqab.
Moreover, it was made clear that men should not teach girls. Girls and boys should not go out at the same time after classes are over. The girls were ordered to be sent after all the boys leave the educational institution premises.
