It is already known news to all of us that after being a super hit on Netflix, Lust Stories is all set to be remade in Telugu.
Amala Paul will reportedly be seen playing the lead in one of the four segments of the anthology. This particular segment is directed by Nandini Reddy, who is currently basking in the success of her latest flick Oh Baby!
And it is being heard that the remaining three episodes in the four-episode anthology will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Tharun Bhascker and Sankalp Reddy.
However, we have exclusively learned that Sandeep Reddy Vanga backed out of the lust stories and the makers reportedly approached ace director Maruthi to replace Sandeep Reddy.
We have also learned that the Rana Daggubati team approached Maruthi to direct lust stories. But, Maruthi has reportedly given his nod but kept a condition.
Going into details, it is heard that the makers allotted Rs. 2 Crores for an individual lust story. But, when Rana’s team approached Maruthi, he demanded that the production budget should be 3 to 4 Crores for his directorial.
The makers have yet to take a final call on this. If everything goes well, Maruthi will be onboard for lust stories.
