It is known that several YSR Congress leaders are now under legal jurisdiction for their alleged financial mismanagement of government funds and illegal activities during YCP’s tenure. On that note, YCP’s firebrand leader Vidadala Rajini has started to face ACB action.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a case against former minister Vidadala Rajini, IPS officer Palle Joshua, and others in connection with illegal collection of money from a stone crusher owner. The amount collected was Rs.2.20 crores.
Vidadala Rajini is listed as A1, IPS officer Palle Joshua as A2, and Vidadala Gopi as A3, and Rajini’s personal assistant Dodda Ramakrishna as A4.
A complaint was initially received by the Vigilance and Enforcement department. Following an investigation by Director General Harish Kumar Gupta, a report was submitted to the government. Based on his recommendation, the government ordered an ACB inquiry. After a preliminary probe by ACB Director General Atul Singh, a case was registered on Saturday.
