Two movies that clashed at the box office last Friday were “Aadikeshava,” starring Vaishnav Tej and Sreeleela, and “Kota Bommali PS,” starring Srikanth. Due to its star strength, which included Vaishnav, Sreeleela, initial expectations supported Aadikeshava.
However, despite Aadikeshava being a standard film, Kota Bommali PS gained traction with its engaging storyline, fueled by remarkable performances from Srikanth and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. The remake of the popular Malayalam film Nayattu, Kota Bommali PS incorporated intriguing twists, drawing a positive response at the box office.
The film’s bookings for Saturday’s morning and evening shows were promising, hinting at a successful run. Produced by Bunny Vas, the film’s budget and release scale contributed to its favorable reception, especially if it continues its momentum into Monday.
Additionally, the film’s political narrative has garnered significant attention amid the ongoing election fervor in both Telugu states. Directed by Teja Marni of Johar fame, Kota Bommali PS also featured Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajasekhar, who further bolstered the movie.
