Myanmar army is opening fire every day to suppress the protesters since the Aung San Suu Kyi government was ousted on February 1.
Two more civilians were killed and more than 12 were wounded in Saturday’s army firing. A video of the shooting was posted on social media. The local Human Rights organization says that 550 people have been killed so far in military firing.
The presence of 46 children among the dead is a matter of grave concern. According to the Myanmar Assistance Association for Political Prisoners, 2,751 people have been jailed by the military to date.
It is clear that the military strongly wants to suppress the people’s movement. People who were not afraid of the military came out and continued to protest against the military government.
