The movement against the privatization of the Vizag Steel Plant is set to intensify. AP people are of the opinion that the BJP government’s move to privatize the Visakhapatnam steel industry, which has achieved 32 lives and struggles, was atrocious. The BJP, which has deceived the people of Andhra Pradesh over the implementation of guarantees in the Partition Act and special status, has once again slammed the privatization of the Visakhapatnam steel plant.
As per the reports, it is clear that the POSCO firm will have a 50 percent share in the new company. Along with this, a third party other than VSP will have a share in this new firm too. But till now, there is no clarity over the stake of the Visakha steel plant.
