With the case of Atul Subhash heating up further all over the nation, several victims are coming out to express their issues too through videos. A new video of a woman has been surfaced who spoke about her brother’s ongoing legal issues related to a false accusation in a 498 case.
She said that her brother, an assistant professor at Hyderabad, was accused by his wife shortly after their arranged marriage, which lasted only 10 days. She stated that the marriage is clearly a plan for extortion by the sister-in-law and her family.
She also mentioned that the legal case has been dragging on for five years without starting a trial due to frequent absences of the petitioner and court delays. She added that her family has been traumatised, with health and professional setbacks for her family members.
She questioned about the unfair treatment of her brother and the lack of mandatory attendance and evidence submission by the petitioner. She expressed frustration over the long intervals between court hearings and the burden of travel costs.
She called up for speeding up trial dates, enabling online sessions, and imposing penalties for absent petitioners and requested strict punishment for false accusations and thorough investigations before filing such cases. She also urged all the Political leader in top positions to look into these issues.
She ended up with a plea for others facing similar injustices to share their stories and fight for justice.
