A Mumbai activist has filed a complaint with the Khar police against Bollywood entertainer Kangana Ranaut for her series of remarks on Mumbai Police, Maharashtra, the film industry and related issues that have stirred a significant political backlash in the state.
“I have enlisted an online objection against the entertainer as her remarks have unsalvageably harmed Maharashtra’s pride and dignity. Her tweets were additionally incendiary, prompting a progression of fights,” complainant Santosh Deshpande told on Saturday.
He said that if the Mumbai Police neglected to take cognisance of his protest, his legal advisor Shivraj Pawar will move to court and seek after the issue to its end result by hook or by crook. Deshpande said the tweets by the entertainer are off-colour and served to aggravate conflicts among the individuals. “She has mishandled the freedom to speak freely and was abusing the online media to spread hatred at everyone.

Shiva Sena activists burnt her effigy and image in various cities that include Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik etc.
